Backup SLA policies

Afi uses the concept of a backup SLA policy to protect resources and configure backup settings such as frequency, scope, exclusion settings, retention and archiving rules, as well as encryption keys (Afi-managed or customer-managed). With backup SLA policies, an administrator can configure different protection settings for various groups of resources in a tenant.

Auto-protection and mass-management

Afi provides mass-management and auto-protection settings that ensure all resources in an entire tenant or specific sets of resources are protected, leveraging provider-native resource groups for granular auto-protection management:

• Organizational units/Groups for Google Workspace tenants
• Microsoft 365 Groups for Microsoft 365 tenants
• Subscriptions and resource groups for Microsoft Azure tenants
